Nature of the service: information, not advice

This is the most important point in the whole document, and we repeat it because almost everything else depends on it.

The Site offers general information and study material about financial markets, generated to a large extent by an automatic system. It is not a financial advice service within the meaning of Ley 6/2023, de los Mercados de Valores y de los Servicios de Inversión, nor of the MiFID II directive, it is not an investment service, and it is not registered in the CNMV (Spain's securities regulator) registries as an investment services firm.

This has three practical consequences:

1. The Site is designed not to issue personalised recommendations to buy, sell or hold a financial instrument. Your situation is not analysed before an answer is given.
2. There is no duty of suitability or appropriateness in relation to you, because no investment service is provided. When the Site knows the level of vocabulary you prefer things to be explained in, that is a presentation of the general information; it is not an assessment of appropriateness.
3. We accept no responsibility for the investment decisions you take on the basis of what is published.

The Site has been designed to offer general information, with no transactions on your securities and no automated decisions about you as a person. The specific legal qualification of this activity depends on how it is actually provided, and we do not assume it here.

When the Site says that an answer is not a personalised recommendation, it is describing how the service is built. That notice does not guarantee that the system will never deviate: it is automatic and can be wrong. If an answer seems personalised to you or is wrong, write to us at c.barezsanchez@gmail.com and we will review it. The fact that the Site is free, that it warns, or that it is not registered does not by itself say whether the activity is lawful.

The Site is free and funded by advertising. There is no charge for reading, for asking the chat or for using the portfolio. In return, Google AdSense processes your identifiers and cookies in order to display and measure advertisements, on the basis of the consent collected by Google's consent manager. Accuracy and currency of the information

The information is prepared from sources considered reliable, but its accuracy, completeness and currency are not guaranteed. An analysis dated two months ago may be out of date and is not removed from the Site for that reason. Before acting on any data, cross-check it against the official sources of the issuer, of the regulator or of the relevant register.

The chat may search the internet when the answer is not available in its own knowledge base. Those internet sources have not been reviewed by anyone and may be incomplete or wrong.

The chat and the limits of what it answers

The chat answers questions about investments using data that you yourself provide in the conversation. Those answers:

• Are not a personalised recommendation nor an assessment of suitability.
• May contain errors, and an automatic model may invent a figure that looks genuine. Always check the relevant data against the original source.
• Do not replace the advice of a registered financial adviser, nor tax or legal advice.

You may state in the chat your asset position, your holdings or your risk tolerance. That is your decision, it stays within the conversation, and its processing is described in /legal/privacidad: the chat does not store it. Do not include third-party data without their authorisation.

Terms of the service

• The Site is provided "as is", with no guarantee of availability. It may be interrupted without prior notice.
• It is not permitted to use the service for unlawful purposes, to attempt to extract information from other users, or to subject the chat to abusive automated load.
• We reserve the right to limit or cancel access in cases of abusive use.
• You may stop using the Site at any time.

The forum

Posting in the Community requires an account, being 18 or older, and accepting the [forum rules](/legal/normas-foro), which form part of these conditions. Every message is reviewed before it is published; what is published are the opinions of its authors, not those of the Site. A published opinion may have the content of a recommendation and may therefore affect third parties' decisions: treat it as the opinion of a person, not as advice, and do not take it as personalised towards you. You are responsible for what you write. We may decline to publish or remove a message that breaches the rules, explaining to you why and how to complain, and we may suspend forum access for anyone who breaches them repeatedly.

Liability

To the extent permitted by the Spanish legislation applicable to the user's interest, no responsibility is accepted for indirect damages or lost profits arising from use of the Site or from the impossibility of using it. None of this limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, nor the rights recognised for consumers.

These conditions may be amended; the version in force is the one published on this page with its revision date. They are governed by Spanish law.
